Nathan Farabee enters his fifth year with Rockwall and Heath Lacrosse as its Program Director, where he leads or assists many efforts including recruiting and program growth, coaching hires, league compliance management, program game scheduling, maintaining our equipment rental program, fiscal year budget planning, and more. In addition to his duties with the club, Nathan also serves on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Fort-Worth Youth Lacrosse League. Starting the fall of 2024, Nathan will additionally begin coaching the youngest age groups with his oldest son, Tristan.
Prior to working with Rockwall and Heath, Nathan was the Head Coach at Plano East Senior High School for four years from 2015-2018, where he compiled a 40-35 record and helped in leading PESH to the THSLL D2 Sweet 16 in 2018. Prior to PESH he served as an Assistant Coach at Coppell High School and JF Webb High School (Oxford, NC).
In his professional life, he is an engineer and data scientist at Citi, working on projects involving Artificial Intelligence and its integration within the bank's systems. He earned his MBA and MS degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2020, and he earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University in 2010. While on the hill, he was also a goalie in the Orange's lacrosse program for three years and on two NCAA D1 title-winning teams (2008, 2009). Nathan and his wife Amy (nee McAleavey), who is a teacher in with 14 years experience having taught in Allen, Rockwall, and Wylie ISDs, have two sons, Tristan Slade (6) and Asher Beau (1), and a dog, Luna Kate (4).
